Does Google index public PDFs hosted at documentcloud.adobe.com?

I can't find an answer to the specific question, does Google (or any other search engine) index PDFs hosted at documentcloud.adobe.com at all? Or even when the link is 'public', i.e., when anybody who has the link can view the file.

Background: I want to host a magazine PDF, but it is only for people who received the link via email. For various reasons, I can't use htacess or noindex solutions via other hosting, nor do I want to password protect the PDF or store it as a .zip

Google will index anything it knows about, but making a link public doesn't tell Google about it. YOU have to tell Google to index, by putting an actual link on a page Google already knows about. If someone who receives it adds a link to their blog (for example), it will be indexed.

Thank you for the reply. With that in mind does document cloud allow for you to turn off indexing? I guess there are lots of reason users would need this function... I do need to link to the file, but do not want it showing up on Google.
