Draw a circle to scale

New Here ,
Feb 17, 2022 Feb 17, 2022

Hi,

How do you draw a circle to a specific size? Working with construction drawings in a 1:100 scale, with dimensioned lines on page. Need to draw a circle to specific size on the page.

Thanks

There are no "drawing" tools in Acrobat with the exception of commenting tools. Commenting tools do not have precise controls.

Actually, they can be created to exact measurements, but it requires using a custom-made script, and that has no way of knowing the scale of the page, so you have to tell it what it is, and then it can calculate the size of the circle (or any other shape that can be adding using the commenting tools), and draw it. This requires quite an advanced level of Acrobat scripting, though.

So the answer is basically still "no" for the most part 😁
