Draw Free Form Tool Issues

New Here ,
Nov 21, 2016 Nov 21, 2016

I am using Pro DC and cannot get the free form pencil line to attach to the drawing.  I am able to activate the pencil, using COMMENT command. The pencil command works fine, but when I release the mouse, the pencil disappears, and the COMMENT App box opens.   How can I get the pencil to stay on the drawing?  This should not be this difficult!!!

Hi allank23450352,

You need to select "Keep tool selected" option once you select Pencil to draw free form under comment tool.

Please check the highlighted icon in screenshot below.

It works similarly for all tools under comment. Make sure you first select a tool and then click on this icon. That tool will be keep selected till you select the other tool from the toolbar.

Let us know if you have any other query.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Do you see the box after you use the Pencil comment tool?

Perhaps the color is set to white.
