Hi,

A long time ago, I downloaded one of the Thom's files (Matrix2DOperations.pdf) which allows to draw and transform a drawing via JavaScript.

I've never studied it yet, but now I would like to start. Unfortunately, I've never drawn using JavaScript and I'm missing the basics.

Could anybody please let me know if there is somewhere a tuto to start the drawing in Acrobat via JavaScript? A webpage or maybe a book???

I found the developer.mozilla web page, but the syntaxs are not the same as for the Acrobat JavaScript ones.

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Regards.

Hi,

I allow myself to revive this topic. I started studying this method from Thom's file and I now manage to draw some simple geometric shapes like lines or rectangles. For circles or arcs of circles it is still a bit complicated!

I am therefore always looking for other examples or explanations of this method (books or internet pages).

"Deciphering" all the parameters of Thom's script is really very long and if I could find a lexicon for example.

Thanks
