Dropdown Menu Export Value to Text Field Only if a Particular Item is Selected

Hi,

I am using Acrobat DC. Apologies if this has already been answered. I have a series of identical dropdown menus with 14 items each with a value of  1. I want to fill 14 associated text fields with the sum of these values dependent on what is selected  in the dropdown menu. Is there a simple way to do this? Some combination of validation and calculate scripts? Thanks for the help.

Provide an example of how an individual text field is filled.

By "14 items each with a value of  1", do you mean the export value of each item in the dropdown is "1"?
