Duplicate open doc miniatures

New Here ,
Nov 10, 2025 Nov 10, 2025

I am having an issue where the open doc minatures duplicate so if I have one document open, the minatures are showing two documents. My IT has removed and re-installed Adobe numerous times and that seems to resolve the issue initially but it arrises again within 2-3 days.

That is odd and it needs to be reported to Adobe - https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

But it doesn't seem consequential.  Do you use the open doc thumbnails often?

Yes, I use the function daily. My job often requires a numer of adobe docs to be open at a time so the duplcate images keep getting smaller and smaller when a higher number of docs are open which makes it difficult to locate and swap backa nd forth between the two.

I am trying to report this to Adobe but when I click on that link it pushes me to the Security Report Form, and then to a page that pushes me back to the Adobe Community and The Help Center but I'm not seeing where the issue should be submitted.

That is not right.  Try going a google search on "Adobe Bug Report" . It should be the first result.

This has been posted. Is there anything that can be done here in the meantime? Or will someone contact me through the other forum?

Nope, the forum is mostly user to user, although there are a few Adobe employees answering.

I would not hold out hope for a solution.  Adobe is comfortable going for years without fixing bugs. They only do it if it's a problem for enough significant people.  And they have to be able to reproduce the issue first.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Have you started experiencing this issue recently or was it occurring earlier as well? What is the version of the Acrobat application and the OS you are using? Go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure its updated to the latest version 25.01.2084X. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

As it is an IT-managed work computer, please ask your IT admin to log a ticket via the Admin console so that our dedicated team may look into it and assist you further.
