Edit a pdf document

Trying to add text on a pdf but it makes  garble. Normally, I click edit - click on text.

Click on the area I want to add text - start to add text and it brings everything to the left of the screen it that area.

Don't change the PDF, Change the original document and then convert to PDF. 

 

If there is text on the PDF that will need to be changed at times, then leave these areas blank on the original document, and then add text fields to the PDF after conversion.   Then you can change the text anytime you like without the danger of totally destroying your document.
