Hello!
I just got adobe acrobat pro to simply use it once for one feature, to embed fonts in a PDF that is existing, so then I can get it printed through a company as a book. The file will not upload unless fonts are embedded, and there are NO OTHER PDF CONVERTERS that can do this.
I cannot get the PDF editer function to work to edit the font and embed it. I click on it, then it pops up with this error saying it is still installing, but adobe is already installed. It doesn't look like it's doing anything. I even left it to sit for 45 minutes while I did something else, and still, nothing happened. same error. Even tried reinstalling adobe, nothing changed.
I don't really understand what's going on, and this is taking forever to figure out, I have spent 3+ hours trying to figure out how to embed a font, and now I have a subscription to a program I only need to use once, and it is still not working.
I am very frustrated and I do not have the time to waste any more time on this. 😞
HELP!
thank you! 🙂

Hello,
I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 24.005.20421 Optional update, Feb 24, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/3FesW4v.
If the issue persists, try resetting the Acrobat's Preferences settings, see this article for the steps: Resolve permission issues with Acrobat
Reinstall Adobe Acrobat: Use Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the app, restart the machine and install Acrobat.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
