Edit Text and Images Issue

When I try to edit text and images from certain pdfs, I get dashed boxes all over the form making it nearly impossible to edit. What is the solution?

PDF files were not really meant to be edited in this way, and some files are more difficult to edit than others.
If at all possible you should go back to the original file used to create the PDF, make the changes there, and then create a new PDF file from it.
