I'm told I can't edit my PDF file if it's over 100MB. I have to use Acrobat desktop. What or where is that?

Acrobat desktop is the Acrobat app installed on your Windows or Mac computer. It will do the editing, without having to send the file to Adobe. Acrobat comes in many versions, take care... Acrobat Pro is good. Acrobat Standard (Windows only) is good. Acrobat Plus is not. Acrobat Reader is free, and is not.

++ in addition to what our expert has suggested to you.

You can download the 7-day free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and try to edit your documents and see if that helps.
