Hi

I keep trying to edit the font in text boxes, there are no ways in to do this. I can change the border of the box but not the text colour, font etc. Ive read all previous threads but none are fixing the problem.

I downloaded the program less than 12 months ago so I figure it should have all the previous issues fixed????

Cheers

Hi there,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described above, you are not able to edit the font in the text box

We need some more information for a better understanding:

  • What is the application and the version you using? Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Adobe Acrobat DC?
To check the version of the application please use the link here (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html)
Make sure you have the latest version 19.21.20056. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
  • What is the workflow or steps you are doing to change the text in the text box?
  • Is it a simple PDF document with comment box containing text or is a PDF form with the text field on it?
  • Have you created the PDF or have you got it form another user?
  • Please check the security of the document under document settings. Open the document > Right Click > Document Properties. and check if commenting is allowed.

We are here fore help, just need more information.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing the details. It seems like you are using the comment tool to create a text box and looking to edit the text font and colour.

Please double click in the text box to activate the options to edit the font and the colour of the text.

There are at least three different kinds of "text boxes" in PDF files. You need to clarify which one you're working with.

Please describe what exact tool you're using to edit this box.
