Editing text boxes not working properly

Hey Everyone.

So after the recent update, my computer and a couple of other computers at my workplace are having an issue with editing text boxes under the "Comment" tools.

We are unable to get the "Text Properties" to show properly after clicking on one of the drop-down menus.

When clicking on the text properties symbol in the toolbar the first time, we get the drop-down menu like normally, but once you select the drop-down menu for the type of font or size of the font the everything disappears except for the drop-down menu you selected. After that when clicked on the text properties symbol again nothing will show.

The only way for us to get it to drop down again is to either close the file or to collapse/expand the drawing tools and you can't even edit the color. The color menu will not show up and clicking on the color box will make the text properties disappear.

It is a very frustrating issue and I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue or is it only me and my co-workers, and if so have you found a workaround?

I have uninstalled/reinstalled acrobat and I was not having this issue until the new update that was released on the 17th.

Hi the_real_tinoxtreme,

Meanwhile, could you please use shortcut keys to enable the other floating menu to change the text properties until the fix for this issue is released.

You can use ctrl+e on Windows machine or cmd+e on a Mac machine when in text edit mode of a text box comment.

Regards,

Arvind
