I have just done the update of windows 10 and each time i want to edit with paint , it show a message C:\Users\My.png was not found showing a path to C users ? now whatever i try to change in the editor settings , i have the correct path C:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe the check box for Page/object editor and the image editor has the photoshop path. so that should be ok but ................ each time when i click to use paint to edit , is give me the message C: users.My.png was ..... it looks like the internal link is fixed to that C users path and can't be changed. It would be great to have this fixed as a lot of editting was done in paint , thank you in advance

The Page/Objecte editor would be something like Illustrator, that is vector based. The image editor would either be Paint, Photoshop, or another rastor-based image editor. See if this notion helps.

Dear Dave
thank you for the message , but .......................... all what you say here are things i know. My question was not about tell me what is what , but that it is impossible to use mspaint. The acrobat always shows next message when i click on edit with microsoft paint "C:\Users\My.png was not found" and ofcourse at that address is no mspaint.exe
I have tried to setup the path to mspaint witch is located at "C:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe" in the editor settings , but no good , it looks like acrobat is frozen on the path to "C:\Users\My.png was not found"
003 this is the path to ms paint
002 than i get this message
001 i select microsoft paint

MSPaint is not suitable as a vector editor. Don't use it and this problem will go away. Maybe a different problem with your actual vector editor, but not this one.

Dear it is not used for vector editor , just for small editing purpose. But it leave me the question , why does acrobat suggest self to use the mspaint ? and why did it work before and not now , as i described and showed with the pictures

The bug is that Acrobat suggests it. It’s entitely wrong. It’s ok as an image editor maybe.

That is what have used it for , for small editing in an image file. And yes it is not me who suggest to use microsoft paint , that is indeed acrobat. But also when i take the options , and find paint , it say the same message as to see in the picture nr 2. To me it looks like that acrobat go look for the paint file in the wrong path , or that paint can not find the image that need to be edit in that location mentioned in picture 2 , any way it got to be something that is related to the update of win10 , as before all worked perfect ( maybe the location of paint is changed , or the location of the image that need to be edit , or paint follow a wrong path due to the update )

Clearly, though, what you have this time is not an image file, because it is trying to run the vector editor! It is not always easy to tell the difference, but Acrobat knows.
