email recipients cannot open attached adobe pdf's

New Here ,

This is a recent occurence, I haven't encountered before.  When I select Print to microsoft PDF, it automatically goes to Adobe.  Yes, I have checked the defaults and they are set as Chrome.  When I send PDF created by Adobe, none of the recipients can open it.  Out of frustration, I changed my default to Adobe and it still continues.  This is what it looks like as an attachment.  Need to solve or remove adobe completely.  Thanks

Hi,

Can you confirm the version of the operating system and the software you are using?

Did you update/upgrade or install anything at the time of this issue occuring?

Can you test opening the file from Acrobat itself? (File > Open) ?

When you create the PDF file, does the icon look 'blank' in the folder on your computer?

This screenshot does not really help us understand the situation. So you're creating the PDFs by printing them to the MS PDF Printer? This has nothing to do with Adobe. If you have Acrobat then you should do it using the PDFMaker plugin, or the Adobe PDF printer.
