Embedded Fonts are there in the PDF but aren't visible

New Here ,

I'm using the latest version of Acrobat Pro to edit a pdf. All the fonts of the original document are showing as embedded, I've also run the preflight fix "Embed missing fonts". I've also activated the fonts in Creative Cloud (they're all unique fonts). But when I open the latest saved version of my PDF, random letters aren't showing up. When I copy the text and paste it into another app, like Evernote, it shows up fine, so the content is there. But it's not visible in Acrobat. What's happening???

Hi @Rachel26668365r59y,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat and the delayed response.

Would you mind trying to save the PDF as an Optimized PDF by going to:

File-> Save as Other-> Optimized PDF-> click on Fonts-> check if there are any unembedded font-> embed them into the PDF and then save it.

You may reference from the steps given below: Optimizing PDFs

Let us know if this helps.
