Embedding profiles into a PDF

New Here ,
Apr 02, 2020 Apr 02, 2020

I would like to embed a ICC profile into a PDF so when other people open the file it will be viewed in the desired profile. In Acrobat you can view what it will look like with your desired ICC under print Procuction/Output Preview. Then under Simulation Profile you can pick the ICC you want with Simulate with paper color turned on. I want to save this PDF with this setting applied to the PDF so whoever opens it will see it exacty like this.

Is it posible?

Thanks

Carey

Certainly you can embed a profile when saving from Illustrator, and it should always be done (except for certain CMYK requirements).  Saving as PDF/X-4 will always add a profile.
