How do I resolve Error 2725 Invalid Database Table issue when installing Acrobat Pro update?

I'm having the same issue, and my Acrobat Pro is extremely laggy.  I repaired my installation, but continue to receive the update failure.  Clicking the "Details" link in the error message sends me to an "Error 404: Page not Found" on the Adobe site.
