Error message received when trying to sanitize pdf documents

New Here ,

I am continually receiving the following message when trying to sanitize documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC:  "The document could not be sanitized because of errors during the sanitzation process."  Why is this message constantly appearing for every document I am trying to sanitize?

What is the solution to this issue?  It seems to happen on large pdf documents (200 to 300+ pages).  Thanks.

I don't know if this helps, but I found that the overlapping content is what was causing the error for me.  I applied the "do not remove overlapping content while sanitizing document" setting under preferences, categories, document, hidden information section and the error went away for me.

@Philip30493135cten you could change the file permissions. Open the document and check for any restrictions that might prevent modifications. Remove or adjust these restrictions if possible.
