Error occurred while sending mail

When I click the email icon in the PDF ribbon, I get an error saying "An error occurred while sending mail". The first time it said something about my mail client is not set to default but it is. I had this issue before and read online that uninstall and reinstall the software could fix this problem. Alas it has not fixed it. Has anyone else experienced this and had it resolved?

(Sorry if this is not the right community but Adobe doesn't seem to have what I am looking for and trying to find an Adobe support team is not easy. This site just takes me back to the community forum)

Are you on a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version?

What is the version of Acrobat DC installed? To identify, please take help from the article https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

 

Please make sure you have the latest version of Acrobat DC 19.012.20040 Optional update, August 22, 2019 installed, check for any pending updates from the help menu>select check for updates, reboot the machine and try sending the PDF as an email attachment.

 

Let us know how it goes and share your observations.

Hi,

 

Would you mind sharing what operating system, Adobe Acrobat product and version, and email client that you are using?

 

Please also describe if this problem began after an update took place in any or all of the products that you are currently using?
