I have tried the phones, but always busy, and the chat line keep transferring me "to an agent who can assist you better", MULTIPLE TIMES, with each one just transferring to the next each time I advise of the problem. "Nope, too hard...handball to the next one. Good luck!"
Anyway, the issue in question is regarding a perpetual license not being able to be activated.
The CD itself is no longer readable so the installer was downloaded by following the Adobe support portal.
When running the installer, and applying the key, it will state that the serial number is not valid.
Can an Adobe rep please contact me so I can provide further details and provide a solution to this issue?

I've informed the Adobe Staff that frequent these forums of your case. Be aware that ONLY people with the STAFF banner under their avatar are official Adobe employees. Do not fall for scammers who pretend to work for Adobe! There are plenty of those around, unfortunately, and they'll contact you and try to gain access to your machine or private information.

Nickc68836435, sorry you are facing problems with your Acrobat serial number. I reviewed case ADB-7683159-L1M2 and the serial number you provided was only 23 digits. As a next step please locate the entire serial number and register it under your account using the process listed in Find your serial number .
