I usually do not have any issues converting excel files to PDF. However in case fo some files I get the below error.
%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
Calibri not found, using Courier.
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: show ]%%

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

You didn't say what version of Acrobat or Office you are using, but the preferred / recommended method of PDF creation from Excel would be to use Acrobat's PDFMaker facility which can be accessed from the file menu as File=>Save as Adobe PDF or via the Create PDF button from the Acrobat tab of the Excel ribbon.
In terms of Distiller (the only good reason to create PDF via distillation of PostScript using the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance), go to the Adobe PDF Properties, click on the Advanced tab, click on Printing Defaults button, click on the Adobe PDF Settings, and make sure the option Rely on system fonts only is deselected (not the default option), press Apply (or OK if no changes made), and then Apply (OK if Apply is grayed out). That will likely fix the problem. But again, this is not the recommended method of PDF creation from Excel.
