When converting multiple .DOCX into PDF files at the same time, the process starts correctly with all of the chosen files opening in Word, but at the end, there is an error message in Acrobat that the files could not be opened and there are no PDFs created. This is incredibly frustrating as it worked a few months ago.
Word and Acrobat are up-to-date, on a macbook pro 10.13.6
Does anyone have a suggested solution for this? I've got 400+ docx needing to be converted.

Hi there,
We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are trying to convert multiple .DOCX into PDF files at the same time, the process starts correctly with all of the chosen files opening in Word, but at the end, there is an error message in Acrobat that the files could not be opened and there are no PDFs created.
We need some more information for a better understanding
You may also try creating the PDF files using the steps provided in the help article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/creating-simple-pdfs-acrobat.html and see if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes
Regards
Amal

I am having the same issue, except the docx files to not even populate as an option to slect for conversion. I have tried to click and drag the files and get the same error "Cannot Open Document"
Also in preferences - Converting to PDF- DOCX or word is not showing as a file option
