Export form data into excel for analysis

Community Beginner ,
Aug 29, 2018 Aug 29, 2018

Hello,

I like to create a form that I send to some people with an embedded "send mail button" and when they filled in their answers they should resend it to me so I can export these answers to an excel sheet.

It is expected that i will have Data from about 100 - 300 people,

My question is: (How) can I export the "answer data" from all reponses at the same time into one excel sheet?

Is there also any other especially easy way to do the analysis without excel?

Thank you so much for any kind of info and tips.

Natalie

In Acrobat there's a command to export the data from multiple forms into a single spreadsheet, which can then be opened in Excel.

What's your version of Acrobat?

Hi Nattie2louse,

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a free application and does not have access to the export tool.

It only helps you to view, print, sign and annotate the PDFs.

There is no trial Acrobat Reader DC.

You need Adobe Acrobat DC trial version to check out that feature discussed above.

Please make sure that you have installed the right application.

If you have not installed the trial version of the Adobe Acrobat DC, you can download the installer from here Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC.

Hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions or need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi

LATEST

Go to the Tools panel and search for "Merge". It's a command called "Merge Data Files into a Spreadsheet". Click it, select your files and click on Export.

There's no test version of Reader, it's a free application... If you have the test (trial) version of Acrobat then you can use that function for the duration of the trial period (7 days, typically). After that you'll need to purchase or subscribe to the application.
