Extensão não funciona ao abrir arquivo salvo no PC, somente quando faço download

Olá, pessoal!

 

A extensão funciona quando abro os arquivos ao fazer o download do arquivo pela primeira vez e peço para visualizá-lo. Porém, posteriormente, ao pedir para abrir o arquivo PDF já salvo no PC (abrir com > Chrome), é aberto utilizando o visualizador padrão do navegador Chrome e não com a extensão do Adobe. 

 

Como resolvo isso?

Hope you are doing well.

You cannot set the browser extension as the default pdf viewer for the files saved locally on your system. 

  • Ideally, when you click "Download" on one of our items (in Chrome), you'll see this icon in the lower-left corner of your computer screen.
  • If you click the dropdown arrow you get 3 options.

  •  By now, the file is already downloaded to the Downloads folder on your computer. Clicking the dropdown menu only gives you additional options.
    Open or Duble click - this will open the file in the default program for this file type and for the first time, it will be web. 

 

When you open the downloaded PDF for the first time from the pane (down at the bottom, where you see the downloaded from the web) is still not the system location. That's an extension/path of that web file and can still be viewed (one time only) from the pane in its actual location(web) 

 

This is why you also see the option "Show in folder." option. 

 

It's Chrome's design behavior. It varies from browser to browser.

Infelizmente, então, não achei a extensão tão útil assim. 

O edge permite editar o PDF mesmo quando salvo localmente no computador.

Vou desinstalá-la e, no futuro, com uma melhora, volto a usá-la.
