Faded TIFF images when placing in Acrobat

Hello everyone!

When I put a TIFF image into Acrobat, it looks faded and low resolution. But if I paste the same image in PNG format, the colors and sharpness of the image are preserved.

But everything was fine before, and TIFF images were always inserted correctly.

Let me tell you right away, I uninstalled Acrobat both normally and with the Acrobat uninstall utility. I even uninstalled the entire Creative Cloud using a special utility. I also deleted all registry entries, as well as all folders with settings. Nothing helped.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
