I open a file and when I insert text into it, save it, and often, the entered text got all mixed up, corrupted.

Hi there
Hope you're doing well, and thanks for reaching out
Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing? Is it happening with one PDF file or with all of them? Try opening a different PDF and see if the same problem happens.
Also, what version of the Acrobat app and operating system are you using? You can check by going to Help > About Acrobat. Please make sure you're using the latest version (25.01.20458). Go to Help > Check for updates, and restart your computer after updating.
It would also help if you could share the steps you’re taking when the issue happens. If possible, a short video showing the problem would be great—it makes it easier for us to understand and help you faster

When I turn off and reboot that will do, but starting agin after a while.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well, and thanks for sharing all the details.
The problem likely isn't with your Mac Mini hardware, but rather a compatibility quirk with macos Sequoia 15.4 and Acrobat’s rendering engine. A reboot temporarily fixes the issue, which points to memory/cache buildup or a rendering bug that escalates after prolonged use. Assuming you are on the latest version of Acrobat installed, as suggested in the previous reply, Disable GPU Rendering (for testing): Go to Preferences (Cmd + ,) > Page Display. Uncheck Use GPU rendering (if enabled). This can reduce display glitches or fuzziness caused by graphics acceleration.
Change Font in Text Input: Try switching to a different system font (like Helvetica, Arial, or Times New Roman) when using Text Input. Some fonts may cause encoding/rendering issues on macos. Use "Edit PDF" Tool Instead: Instead of Text Input, try using All Tools > Edit PDF. It gives more robust controls for inserting and formatting text. Check for macos Updates: Make sure your macos is up to date.
Boot your Mac in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if background processes are causing the problem.
Reset Preferences: Corrupted preferences can cause issues. Resetting them might help. Close Acrobat, then rename the preferences folder located at ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist
Clear Application Cache: Close Acrobat. Delete temporary Acrobat-related files from this path: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/
(Backup this folder before deleting.)
If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat Pro. Use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove Acrobat, restart the machine and install Acrobat.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
