File Name Stamper

I just started my 7 day trial of Adobe Acrobat ver 23.003.20269.  I am not sure if this product is Adobe Acrobat Pro.  How can I determine this?  I thought I asked for the Pro version when I applied for the trial.  Will the File Name Stamper action work on my current version of Adobe Acrobat?

I see in this product instructions that this Action is only compatible with Adobe Acrobat X Pro and Adobe Acrobat X Pro Suite.  Sounds like I am not going to find any ability to use this Action unless I purchase another version of Adobe.

If you open any document, you will see the full name of the app at the file name bar at the top. If it doesn't for some reason show there, just go to the Acrobat Help menu and show About Acrobat...  you will see the word "Pro" there.

As for your action, I can't speak to how well it works (if at all) in the current versions, but you can certainly install it and try.

It's certainly possible to do it in the current version of Acrobat Pro. The Action you found might be outdated, but there are others out there that aren't.

I'll add that we also weren't able to get File Name Stamper to work in our current version (Adobe Acrobat Pro v. 2023.06... And I wasn't able to find any equivalent actions that would work on our version of Acrobat).

That "File Name Stamper" is an Action script written for (I think) Acrobat X. Things have changed since then and there are updates. Quite a few new features have also been added. It's also not free anymore.
