file not implemented message

When I try to send a WORD file via gmail, I get a message that the file is "not implemented," and I am forced to change the file to a PDFile. How do I stop this requirement and send WORD files as WORD files?

This is a Gmail issue that has nothing to do with Acrobat.
You should ask the question in a forum dedicated to Gmail.
