Hi @rania_3094,
Import form Data
Sometimes, individuals submit filled-in forms as data-only files rather than complete PDF files. These files aren't PDFs but use another format, such as FDF or XML. You can see the data submitted by an individual recipient in the context of the PDF by opening the original file and importing the information from the data file.
-
In Acrobat, open the PDF form you want to import data into.
-
Select All Tools from the global bar in the upper left, and then select Prepare a Form.
- From the Prepare a form panel, Select Options ... > Import data.
- In the Select File Containing Form Data dialog box, select athe format ofthe data file you want to import. Then, locate and select that file, and select Open.

Let us know more details, and will try to assist.

Not directly. You must first save them as a tab-delimited text file, and then you'll be able to use the Import Form Data command of Acrobat on it, assuming the field names and column headers match.

I am confused by your response because I have a tab limited Excel sheet which contains data which I would like to be entered into my form fields but when I try to import that data into the form on Adobe, it does not give me the option of importing a tab limited text file, but it is instead asking me to use an FDF or XML file.

Are you sure it's a regular PDF file? Can you edit the fields in it, for example?
