I have been using freefilefillableforms for my tax returns and the grid has always lined up but the are not lining up on any form now. I am using Windows 7 and the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC.
Did Adobe take away the ability to use these forms in the free software?

No, nothing changed in that regard.
What do you mean by "not lined up", exactly? Can you share a screenshot, or the actual file?

Can you share a link to the file? Also, please post a full-window screenshot, so we could see what application you're using.

I'm not quite sure how to do that.... It took me forever to get a screenshot of this and then find it. I am working directly in the freefilefillableforms website on my account so I don't think you will be able to see anything. My Acrobat Reader information is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe"

To take a full-window screenshot all you have to do is press Alt+PrtScn and then paste the image directly into the reply text area here (Ctrl+V).
But if you're opening it in a browser window then it's very likely you're not using Reader.
You need to save the file locally and then open it in Reader directly.

I've never had to do that - I fill it in directly in the website and save and even efile from there. Here is the screenshot

Well, you do know, because the Firefox PDF plugin can't handle such files correctly.

I've been doing my taxes using this same method for the past 10 years without any issues

Don't know what to tell you, but maybe you were using a very old version of Firefox and it was updated recently, or something like that. Anyway, that's just the way it is now.

I have to say it doesn't even look like it's a PDF file... Did you contact the website about this issue?
