Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Web browsers use their own PDF mechanism to render and display PDF content, and they are not Adobe-dependent. Chrome’s and Edge’s PDF viewers use a very limited set of fonts and character support. If your PDF form field relies on a font that doesn’t include the Unicode glyph for “⅝,” or if the font wasn’t embedded when the PDF was created, the viewer simply drops the character.
Please try downloading the form to your device locally and then opening it using the Acrobat/Reader application to see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.

Ive tried embedding the symbol 5/8 but it still removes it in chrome... is there a way to make the form only use ie: a to z and numbers and certain symbols that i know work....? or is there a way to cause pdf to restrict long press on devices??
