Find a way to export Acrobat Alt Text so I can spellcheck it

I need a way within Acrobat to export all the alt text from all figures. It could be an export to a .txt file. I will open it in Word and spellcheck. There is no spellcheck for alt text within Acrobat. Perhaps you know something that works. I'm not a developer or programmer. I do a lot of 508 remediateion to PDFs and alt text proofreading inside Acrobat is too time consuming (although I do it because I don't know of an alternative you may know about). Please share. Thanks.

I don't believe it's possible from within Acrobat, but if you share a sample file I might be able to develop for you a standalone tool that does it, for a fee.

Save your PDF file as Text. You'll get all the real text, but you'll also get the Alternate text as well.

Yeah! This suggestion to export my PDF file to a .txt extension worked to give me all the alt text included in the PDF as well as the body text. I could spellcheck in Word and then make corrections to the alt text in the PDF. Just what I wanted. THANK YOU Thom Parker, and everyone who answers our questions in this forum. I come here often.
