Find jumps back to first highlighted word on the page

A user has run into this problem in the office.  

She has been tasked with highlighting a certain word in the PDF and then adding a comment.  

So she presses CTRL+F to find the word, highlights it, adds the comment, clicks Next to go to the next occurence, but it goes back to the first word on the page that was highlighted.  So she's having to click Next multiple times after making each highlight/comment because it starts back at the first highlighted word on the page with each "next" click. 

I can replicate this behavior as well, and cannot find a solution.

Any ideas?

There's no way around it, but this is a very cumbersome way of doing what you described. A script can be used to automatically highlight all instances of a certain word in a document, and attach a comment with specific text to it.

For example, you can achieve it using this (paid-for) tool I've developed:
