The 2023 update seems to have removed the Fit to Page and One Page Scroll option with an easy one-click.
Is there a preference setting that can enable this? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Either I missed it, or it was recently updated:
In the bottom right page menu (above the zoom buttons), select "Fit Height" button and also above that toggle the "Enable Scrolling" button--with it off, this combination is the same as "Fit Page".
I do find this combination useful: I can fly through 10-100 paged with Enable Scroll turned off, then when I find the pages to read I can toggle Enable Scrolling on to slowly read page to page...

Is that enable the requested feature? Because it's not the reply requested.
I'm searching for the same option, too.
The question is simple; what happened that option? -or- is that option still available somewhere in the current ui?
Thank you.

Did you try it? Did you also check the Zoom menu (as there you wil find the fit to page)?
If not, please tell us your OS and version and the Acrobat version. (Please give exact version numbers)

If i want to peform this task with 4 clicks, i can use right hand menu.
There was this feature and now it's not available or under some other menu which is not known by my or by requester.
The asked and previously available feature; with just one button or with a keyboard shortcut that can be peformed in one move (like, copy shortcut, Ctrl+ C) can we do fit the page to the view area of Adobe Acrobat Pro or Reader and without scrolling? Right now, i need to choose "fit to height" or "fit to width" that may change pdf to pdf because of their size and/or orientation and need to remove the tick on "Enable scolling".
While wandering on menus to find a solution; "fit one full page" can be found in search but not on right hand menu.
I also checked for the above menu; there is a short cut for "fit to width" (Ctrl+2) and "fit to content" (Ctrl+3) but there is not any shortcut for "fit to height". This is useful when you want to see a vertical page as whole. When you want to see multi-paged PDF file page by page with each input (down arrow, scroll down on mouse), "Enable scrolling" must be closed. The missin feature was letting us to perform it in one click.
I can say that, because it's in the top bar before the latest gui update which hides top bar to other menus on sides and "All tools" menu takes 1/5 of the screen.I know but i do not want to go back to previous ui. I'm try to explain what is missing on your current ui.
Thank you for your support. I'll be happy to read if there is any resource behind these kind of decisions which makes a product harder to use for your users if it's for their good.

Instead of having a four step process in a nested menu tree, retaining the old icon that could be put on the quick link access bar might be a better solution.

Yes, the "Fit Page" button has disappeared. The function is still present under:
"View" --> "Zoom To" --> "Magnification" scroll to "Fit Page" = time-consuming Apple-like nonsense.
Absurd that with all the customization this one extremely useful button is no longer available.
When dealing with hundreds, even thousands of legal pages the "Fit Page" button was so useful.
Also, when scanning in, merging, and rotating documents it is so useful.

This still isn't how it used to be. I want to be able to scroll and it go from one full page to the next. It doesn't do this anymore, which is a huge disappointment.

Don't fix it. It needs to fit to the page, then you can scroll page by page.

Hi! I know this is years later, but I am having a new issue regarding this. For the longest time my defult scrolling was how I liked it- one scroll would send me to the next page. However a few days ago the defult changed to the slow scroll- which I am not a fan of. I can toggle page scrolling by clicking on the page view icon and selecting "fit one full page," but it only applies to the document I have open and it is inconvenient to do every time I'm looking through a document. Which is a lot. Do you know of any way to make scrolling by page defult again? I've tried each override page display in the accessibility preferences and none of them even toggle page scrolling. It is driving me crazy.
Here's what I mean- this is the only way I have found to page scroll, and I'd rather not have to select it every time I open a document.

Did you change your preferences?
This has been the same for years. Keep in mind that this only works for PDFs that have these settings set to default. If the settings have been preset and there is no protection on the PDF, you can change the settings as you have been. Be sure to save the changes.

This picture was not a fix. Please add the fit to page button back in. Fit to page - the most useful button has been removed...

Right click on the image of the paper with the <> arrows, then as you hover over the "fit to..." and "enable scrolling" you can click on the pin. They then pin to the lower right taskbar.
