Recently we have updated people at the workplace to Adobe Acrobat 2020 Standard, however we are having issues with a user whenever she converts a Word document into PDF. Whenever converting from the Word document to PDF (whether from importing from Word or printing to PDF from Word) it does the below:

We have tried checking embedded font settings and it seems to help for a little bit but will go back and the option will stop working after that. After that I tried uninstalling and reinstalling fully and it fixed it for about a week but unfortunately came back again. Currently we are running Office 2016 and Adobe Acrobat 2020 (prior version without the issue was Adobe Acrobat 2017).

If there is anymore requested information for troubleshooting please let me know.

Hi ryanb88738736,

Thank you for reaching out.

It seems to be a font-related issue. However, as you have mentioned above, the fonts are embedded, and the issue still occurs.

Would you mind sharing any sample PDF with us so we can check that at your end?

Please check if this happens with PDFs from a particular source.

Also, check if the user has the font available on the machine or has edit rights for the fonts.

Share the complete Acrobat 2020 version number.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
