I am a freelance graphic designer so I have received many PDF files for processings. Some files have the fonts which doesn't match my system then I can't ready that file for output. How I overcome this problem?
Using File > Properties > Fonts, you can find out the list of fonts/types used.
There are no ways to extract the font out of a pdf as it breaches copyright laws.
you will need to download legally free fonts, and purchase the rest.
Usually, when a font is purchased, it can be installed on 5 devices (not all allow this, just check) which means you could get access to them for processing purposes only.
If a client where to send you an InDesign package of their files, the fonts would be included.
Just make sure not to use the fonts to dsign something else for another client.
