I have a fillable PDF that we are using programatically.
It is working however, the source PDF is quite large (1.2 MB) for a single page PDF.
The issue is that the program daily uses the source PDF to create a combined output file. Often this is over 1000 pages. So, the daily output is over 1 GB. Often between 1 and 2 GB. This is an issue because we need to keep these files for up to three years.
Uplon investigation, it has been determined that FONTS make up the majority of the PDF file size.
I have tried to remove fonts from the PDF but it ends up flattening out the document and removing the fields.
Any suggestions?
