force one answer on checkbox not working anymore?

Hello,

A few months ago I created a form in Acrobat DC where I had a question, for example:  How many times a day do you eat?  with check boxes, 0-5, and I could essentially force DC to select one answer by duplicating an answer and the extension on the end would be different so like 

how many times do you eat#0 (would be 0)

how many times do you eat#1 (would be 1)

how many times do you eat#2 (would be 2)

how many times do you eat#3 (would be 3)

etc and you could not check multiple answers

this doesn't work anymore.

to clarify, now it selects ALL check boxes when I check only one vs 1 out of 6

never mind i think just forgot to enter something
