Form fields don't show up in new Acrobat standalone update

I am on CC enterprise (gov't)  continuous release Acrobat 2024.004.20772 and can see the form fields in a PDF fillable form.  My clients have continue release outside of Creative Cloud with the same update number but cannot; this just started yesterday (12/11/2024).  They are viewing correctly in Acrobat, not a browser.  Changing the default fill color from the light blue to another color doesn't affect.   It seems to be a bug given continous release?  Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Yes, that's it. Just be aware that some files will disable this setting to avoid having the blue fill color overwrite their own colors. This can be done without the user's knowledge (or consent), unfortunately, and affects all files you open, not just the one that caused this change.
