Form need to move "Document Text" and images OR copy entire form fields only to new pdf

Is my only choice to start from scratch ? Is there a version of Acrobat that will work?

I have X Standard and am stuck here needing to move some items higher up on the page in order to add a few more fields below:

  • Logo and horizontal divider lines may be images - they seem to be embedded as if they are in a non touchable background layer. Select Object doesn't work on them.

  • There is some text that I can only access with Content:"Edit Document Text" - the box they appear in can't be moved up the page a half inch though.

  • i.e. the entire form was not built in Acrobat, I suspect. There are some text bits that were inserted as text FORM FIELDS, so I can manipulate those as needed as well as the rest of the form input objects.

If possible, I'd also be okay if I could copy all the form "layer" and paste it into a new pdf then replicate the remaining missing bits using FORM text fields this time.

It appears your form might be an XFA form that was created in Adobe Live Cycle Designer (now called AEM FormsDesigner).

If that's the case, it can't be edited in regular Adobe Acrobat Pro. You must open it up in LiveCycle to make your changes.
