The choices on the Typewriter bar are what is available (increase/decrease text size & line spacing, color, font selected, font size).

Try using the Drawing Markup Text Box. Select the text in the annotation and have the Properties Bar open (Ctrl+E).

The Properties Bar provides for text color, text justifcation, font selection, font size, bold, italic, underline (4 variations), strikethrough, superscript & subscript.

The annotation can be configured to have no visible borders (no box around the text).

Be well...
