Freezing when requesting signature

Help!! This has been happening for months now and it's beyond frustrating and slowing me down!! When I go to send a message to the person to request a signature it kicks me out and just goes black (I can see the document behind) but I can't do anything !! How can I fix this!??

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20432 Planned update, Mar 11, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/41x8RxO.

 

I tested the attached PDF by sending it for signature, and it worked. If the app freezes only when sending the PDF for signature, please install the latest update, restart your machine, and try again with a different set of PDFs. You can also test using Acrobat Online services.

 

Let us know if you still experience any issues with the latest version.
