from adobe creative cloud, back to Adobe Acrobat Pro

Hello everybody,

I really need your help!

In January 2014, I purchased and registered Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 11 for Macos. Years later, in 2016, I then purchased the Adobe Creative cloud abo, I never did get all functions and programs used and has therefore terminated this ABO again

Now I wanted to go back to my Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 11 for Macos, but unfortunately that does not work, adobe always refers me to the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription which I have to buy.

For You information:

Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 11 for Macos is still registered under my Adobe Profil.

Thanks for help,

Robert

Hi Robert,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you want to install Acrobat XI Pro on your Mac machine, is that correct?

As we have checked the account details using the email address you are logged into the forums, you have a perpetual license for Acrobat XI as well as subscription for Creative Cloud (currently canceled).

Please try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Run cleaner tool on the machine which you can download from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

2- Reboot the machine.

3- Download and install Acrobat XI on the machine from here: Download Acrobat XI, Acrobat X.  You need your Acrobat serial number to complete the installation.

To locate the serial number: Find your serial number

Let us know if you need any further help.

The query and response for  Robert was in 2018 and refers to Acrobat XI Pro on a Macos.  Is that advice still current ?
