Frozen program

I was scanning a page to a pdf and the paper jammed, I remove the jamb , but it's still transferring data and froze the program. It will not allow me to remove the scan. How can I reset the Adobe Acrobat program.

Re started my computer and the Adobe Acrobat is still frozen saying its transferring the data

Acrobat doesn't continue operations between invocations and certainly not between boots of your computer.

Or did you restart the scan after rebooting and you are still having problems?

Rather than simply rebooting, I would power down the computer and the scanner completely.

Power up the computer and run Acrobat. Do you still see something “frozen” with this error message? Assuming not, power up the scanner and then start the scanning process anew!
