Functions of Acrobat Pro DC

I recently bought Acrobat Pro DC with the understanding i could convert Word Documents to PDF's.  I logged into my account today uploaded a Word document and the website tells me I need to upgrade my account!  Doesn't Acrobat Pro DC convert Word documents to PDF's and vice versa?

Yes, use the ACROBAT ribbon that Acrobat Pro adds to Word.
