I have a user who has issues with PDF file, where he has a file which contains links to multiple pdf files in the share drive.

When he tries to launch the file in Adobe Acrobat Pro, he gets error as per attached image.

When opening the same file in PDF X Change Pro, it works fine and no issues.

Need assistance on this, Any idea how to resolve.

Currently issue has been resolved automatically. Not sure how it got resolved. During my troubleshooting session earlier, already upgraded to latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. User confirmed that he tried opening again and it's working correctly.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20615 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Also, check out the help pages listed below and see if that works:
