This shouldn't be the case, however there are a few prerequisites when using the Acrobat AI Assistant for Acrobat. Please have a look at this help article: Before you begin (https://adobe.ly/4hnVkjj)
Let me know if you are following them and still not able to use the AI Assistant, and we can troubleshoot further.
