Help with what computer allows adobe layers

Wanting to buy a new computer. I have a MacBook that is from 2015 that doesn't support adobe being downloaded, and then I have a Chromebook that also doesn't support the editing version to be used for adobe acrobat pro. I sew and need to be able to take layers off of patterns through adobe acrobat pro. Both of these computers aren't allowing me to do what I need. Is there a certain computer that will actually let me use these features? I don't want to buy something and it not work. I'm looking at the hp 17.3 core i5 lavender, and when purchasing I can't just open the computer see if it installs adobe and lets me use it fully and then say yes I need this one and buy it. I would have to purchase first and this is a big concern! Someone help!
