I am trying to edit a document but adobe editor wont edit it for me.
I called Adobe help desk and I was able to speak to a technical rep after 10 days of trying. He told me I need to "buy" font to edit these type of documents. He could not tell me the source as it would be conflict as Adobe doesnt recommend third party vendors.
Can someone please help me and advise where can I buy "Helvetica" font for Adobe Acrobat?

The Adobe help desk was correct: if you want to edit the PDF, you'll need the Helvetica® font installed on your computer, as well the italic, bold, and other weights of Helvetica. You might need other fonts that were used in the PDF, not just Helvetica.
You can purchase a license for Helvetica from several font vendors. Helvetica was developed by the Linotype font foundry, you can purchase directly from them at: https://www.linotype.com/2441/helvetica.html Check to see which version of Helvetica you need: there are two by Linotype, Helvetica (the original design), Helvetica Neue (a newer design), and Helvetica Now (the latest design). Check your PDF to see which version of Helvetica was used and in which weights.
Other licensed vendors of Helvetica are:

FYI, font foundrys sell fonts for different uses, such as web fonts and desktop fonts for documents. You want the type of font file that you can install on your computer, which is called a "desktop" font or "perpetual license" font.
