Which PDF/X version specifically? For example, PDF/X-2?

Do you have Acrobat Pro already?

yes, I have the Acrobat pro, however this was required by the gov digital
system when I tried to elecronically authenticate certain pdf documents so
I don't know the specific x version. Any clue, welcome!

It is important to find out, not to guess. However, this does not sound like something the Goverment needs - PDF/X is for professional printing. Can you please give us the info - a link or web address, nothing private - from the Government system, so we can look at what they are saying about PDF X?

Yes... but since as I said we should never guess what version of PDF/X to use - because printers require specific versions - we still need to know what is actually required.
